ABSTRACT

Tits results of magnetic, Turam, horizontal-loop electromagnetic and induced polarization (I.P.) surveys in the Kozlu geochemical copper anomaly zone are presented.

In the zone of old copper workings, an electrical conductor of medium strength and fair polarization characteristics has been located, extending for at least 200 m, dipping steeply and projected to be at a depth of 40-80 m. Test drilling is recommended to establish the nature of this zone.

Another significant I.P. anomaly in the area is pre­sumably related to graphitic schists. Further evaluation of this anomaly zone will depend upon the results of drilling of the more promising anomaly confined to the old workings.
