ÖZET
      Bu çalışma, Malatya-Pütürge Yöresi pirofîllit yataklarından alınan temsili numuneler üzerinde, laboratuvar ölçekte gerçekleştirilen zenginleştirme çalışmalarım kapsamaktadır. Halen beyaz çimento üretiminde kullanılan pirofillit'in diğer sektörlerdeki teknolojik gelişmeleri iyi izlenemediğinden, bu teknolojik değişimlere ne ölçüde cevap verebileceği tahmin edilememektedir. Ülkemizdeki pirofillit yataklarının Avrupa'da tek olduğunun bilinmesine rağmen, üretim ürün çeşitliliği ve pazar payı yönünden oldukça zayıf kalması pirofillit'in iyi bir şekilde değerlendirilmediğini göstermektedir. Bu amaçla tüketim açısından pirofillit'in fiziksel-kimyasal durumu, kullanıldığı yer ve amaca uygunluk derecesi, renk özelikleri bakımından gerekli teknolojik çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Konsantrelerde pirofillit'in hakim mineral olabilmesi için, kompleks cevhere yüksek alan şiddetli yaş manyetik ayırma ve flotasyon yöntemi uygulanmıştır.
ABSTRACT
        This study covers processing works realized in the laboratary scale on the samples got from pyrophyllite beds of Malatya-Pütürge region. Nowadays. since technological developments in other sectors for which suitable raw material used in the prodaction of white cement only, can not be followed well, it is not possible to predict to which extent pyrophyllite meets the technological changes. Although, it has been known that Turkey has huge pyrophyllite deposit that is the only one in Europe in sufficient product variety and inadequate market share of pyrophyllite show that this raw material is not well apraised. By taking this purpose as a base, from the point of wiew of consumption field of pyrophyllites, its suitability, its physical and chemical properties and color, same technological experiments have been carried out. For the processing, high intensity wet magnetic separation and flotation have been applied to the complex ore in order to obtain a concentrate in which pyrophyllite being majör mineral.
